Intake Air Temperature 2 (Degrees Fahrenheit) – LUZ
Description
The Intake Air Temperature (IAT) sensor measures the temperature of the air entering the engine through the intake manifold. During a cold start the IAT should report within 10 degrees of the ambient temperature.

Usage Notes
In cold weather the air is thicker so the ECU will need to add more fuel to maintain the proper air to fuel ratio. A damaged IAT sensor can cause the ECU to add too much or too little fuel to the engine. This can cause the the engine to misfire, increase emissions, poor fuel economy or rough idling.
