The ScanGaugeD and ScanGaugeKR products are designed to plug directly into the diagnostics connector under the dash of your diesel pusher motor home, or over-the-road long-haul truck.

The universal plug included with your ScanGauge is compatible with both the J1939 (9pin) and J1708 (6-pin) diagnostic port. Match the end of the plug to the connector,

There are no known compatibility issues with J1708 or J1939.
