ScanGauge HD is a plug-in gauge display, trip computer and trouble code reader for diesel pusher RVs, long-haul trucks and other big rigs. It works on most 1987 and newer vehicles with a J1939 (9-pin) or J1708 (6-pin) diagnostic port and shows live data on its own color touch screen. No phone, app or subscription needed.
Plug it into the diagnostic port under the dash and it detects the protocol automatically. See up to 9 gauges at once, including real-time fuel economy: instant and average MPG and gallons per hour, read and clear trouble codes, and track trips. Standard OBDII tools don’t connect to J1939 or J1708 vehicles, and ScanGauge HD is built for them.
